Praying, Nesting, and Patiently Waiting

Today I’ll bring you up to date with the latest on pregnancy, and what we are doing while we wait for Sawyer to arrive. I do apologize for being the world’s worst blogger. I wanted to write about my awesome baby showers with my amazing friends, however, I accidently deleted all the photos. Yes, this was so sad, but a great lesson in being tech savvy. Better to learn now rather than later and have deleted baby photos. I’m currently 39 weeks and 1 day, with a cervix like Alcatraz, and contractions that wouldn’t hurt a fly. Looks like I’m going the full 40 with this pregnancy. March of Dimes would be so proud! The anticipation of his birthday is worse than how uncomfortable I am, but we are more than grateful for a healthy pregnancy.

Psalms 92:4 “For you make me glad by your deeds, Lord; I sing for joy at what your hands have done.”

Here is a showcase of some serious nesting of the nursery and a little home decor. This would not be possible without one of my best friends, Elizabeth Aubuchon. If you are in need of a decorator, organizer, or the most selfless friend, she is your girl!

I know Sawyer is going to love his nursery! I can’t wait to show him!

And here is some lovely home decor:

Trust me full cubbies are a great thing. Use what you have!

Also, who doesn’t remember the awesome mantle? And our Christmas announcement of baby Sawyer! It’s looking a little more sophisticated these days!

Pillows, plates, and Polka Dot napkins…I love Pottery Barn! I can’t walk away!

We will for sure be announcing the arrival of Sawyer in the next week or 2 or hopefully less!
